Lamar Mallory has God given talent to play the game game of basketball. At 6'9 he can handle the ball as well any body, run the floor, and his leaping ability is off the charts. After spending two seasons at a JUCO in Ohio Mallory came to Glenville in 2012 and he did not do so quitley. Mallory took the league by storm and immediatley established his self as one of the top players in the league. In just his first league game Mallory shot an astounding 77% from the field going 10 for 13 and scoring 20 points and grabbing 6 boards. Lamar improved this team greatly increasing the win total by 7 games in his first year. Little know how much Mallory sacrifices for the team. He much prefers to play on the wing where he can handle the ball and create for others because he finds more joy in making defenders look silly then passing to let his teammates score rather shooting and scoring the ball himself
After the 2013 spring semester ended instead of going home for the summer Mallory decided to stay in Glenville to prepare for the upcoming season. In addition to his basketball workouts and weight training Lamar held two jobs one of which required him to be up at 6 AM. That there right there shows his dedication to the team.
