Background

Winston has no label, when it comes to a particular position he is simply a basketball player. Winston can literally play the 1-4 and play each position well. Brien was a two sport athlete all through out high school and he brings his football instincts to the court. His physicality alllows him to bang with the bigs down low his lateral quickness is one reason guards find it hard to get passed him, and his ball hawking skills allow him to chase down rebounds and loose balls. Before graduating high school Brien's team slaughtered Boston Celtics Jared Sullinger and Utah Jazz Trey Burke Northland High School, which was the number one team in the nation in the regional championship game.

Brien Winston is only 1 of 2 players who have been apart of this team since 2011 and is no doubt a leader for the Pioneers.Even though he doesn't say much he leads by example. Brien After ending the 2012-2013 season starting at the 4 it will be interesting to see what position he will be playing majority of the time this season.

A. I prefer to be criticized

Q. How do you get prepared for a game ?

A. Listen to music

Q. What is on the funniest in game stories you have?

A. When Coach Dye turnt up on the Wesleyan Fans (laughing)

Q. If you have a been a bench warmer or a guy didnt play as much when was it and what is going through your during the games ?

A. Last season there were times at I didnt play. I would just stay ready.

Q. Everyone has a celebrity look alike who do you get often called?

A. My teammates say I look like this kid Alex who tells the ref he touched the ball from Values.com sportsmanship commercial
